Emmanuel College's existing Prep playground lacked the physical challenge and variety young children need to develop gross motor skills and embodied confidence. The college wanted an Adventure Garden — a space that would invite students to climb, explore, and problem-solve from their very first year of school.
The result is an elevated timber fort with a raised deck, multiple entry points, a slide, monkey bars, and an open under-croft for imaginative play — thoughtfully designed to support students socially, physically, and academically.
